Family Supports Request for Proposals

Our investment in Family Supports recognizes that individuals and families often struggle to meet the basic needs of their household. These multi-year grants to nonprofit organizations are intended to provide immediate, short-term food, housing and utility assistance for individuals and families in Douglas County.

Childhood Success Request for Proposals

Investment in childcare and early childhood education is crucial for the success of individuals and families in our community. Success in the early years leads to better preparation for school, greater academic success, and on-time high school graduation. Investment in childcare and early childhood education provides support for families and can drive economic growth in communities. These multi-year grants to nonprofit organizations are intended to support immediate, short-term childcare and early childhood education assistance for individuals and families in Douglas County.

Racial Equity Community Building Grant Request for Proposals

The Racial Equity Community Building Grant supports projects that build community, leadership, and direct support for marginalized community groups. Funds will be invested in grassroots and/or community nonprofit organizations in Douglas County, KS with projects focused on increasing equity and opportunities for local BIPOC communities. These grants provide support for organizations or individuals whose work benefits people with low incomes, communities of color, and historically and/or systematically marginalized people. Collaborative efforts and coalitions are eligible to apply.
