Campaign Executive Program

The Campaign Executive Program is a valuable professional development tool for key employees and a chance for retirees to keep their professional skills sharp. The non-retired campaign executives are sponsored by their employers, who continue to pay the employees' salaries and benefits while they work on the annual campaign at no cost to United Way of Douglas County. Campaign executives become part of our campaign team, averaging 10 to 20 hours per week and engaging in public speaking, team building, leadership and sales training.

Campaign executives begin their assignments in early August and conclude in early November. Weekly time commitments can be 1/2 time (20 hours per week) or 1/4 time (10 hours per week).
