What does it mean to Live United?

It means recognizing that whether or not I know a child on the other side of town, it matters to me if that child grows up to be a contributing member of this community.

It means understanding that when any part of this community is struggling financially, it affects prosperity for us all.

It means seeing that drug addiction, teen pregnancy and family violence
are problems that ripple throughout our community and that we can work
together to address the conditions that contribute to these problems.

Because I have a stake in my community, I have a stake in all these things,
and a responsibility to do my part.

I can make a difference.
