WHAT: Kickball Tournament to benefit United Way funded programs WHERE: Holcom Park, 2700 W 27th St, Lawrence, KS 66047 WHEN: Saturday, October 8 TIME: Check-in begins at 8:30am, First games begin at 9:00am TEAM FEE: $25/player or $250 per team
All proceeds will benefit United Way Community Partners addressing education, health, financial stability and basic needs in our community.

lunch for the team members (concessions will be available for other guests)
Three prizes will be awarded:
1. Winning team from the kickball tournament 2. Best Dressed/Team Spirit 3. Team with most funds raised
NOT INCLUDED IN TEAM FEE
Team Uniforms - however, we have asked for shirt sizes during registration, just in case a generous sponsor decides to provide shirts for everyone!
Limited to the first 16 teams that submit their registration fee.
Online registration must be completed by 5:00 pm, Friday September 30.
FORMAT AND RULES
The tourney is a COED tourney. Each team must have at least 4 women.
Format TBD based on number of teams (double-elimination; round robin or pool play with single-elimination playoff)
1. Games will be limited to 45 minutes or 6 innings, whichever comes first. 2. The run-ahead rule will be 12 runs after 4 innings. 3. Round-robin games may end in a tie. 4. Teams are limited to a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 14 players.
WEATHER/CANCELLATIONS The tournament is an OUTDOOR tournament. It will be played in just about all weather conditions except thunderstorms.
Refunds will not be provided. After all, the event is meant to be a charity fundraiser for the United Way of Douglas County.
Brackets will be drawn randomly on Wed Oct 5 at a location and time TBA
Tournament check-in time will be 8:30am on Sat Oct 8
